Ordered Laos food for dinner with my boyfriend, his cousins and their girlfriends on Christmas Eve. Forgot to take photos of the food because I was too hungry, hehe. Oh, and his cousin owns this massive German Shephard which can barely walk cos it's too fat. Adorablez.

I wasn't expecting any gifts from anyone, besides Adam, so I felt really bad when his cousin and his girlfriend got me something cos I didn't get them anything. Definitely going to get everyone a present next year!

While they all headed to the city for karaoke afterwards, I went to Gerry's place to spend the last remaining hours of Christmas Eve with the girls.

Using the facial masks Jen got us from Japan. We are monsters.

Got hungry, so we went to Diem Hen at Canley Heights at 1am.It was really yummy and cheap!

Drove to McDonald's for ice cream on a lid (basically a sundae), where we got crappy service, then went back to Gerry's. Chit chatted 'til the sun rose, ate cereal, created Mii characters of our friends on my 3DS and I woke up at 5.30pm, where I ate some of Gerry's mom's tasty food. Yerps, what a Christmassy Christmas I had.

So Melissa from MissMakeupLover1 had held a Christmas giveaway to celebrate her achievement of 100 followers! To my absolute astonishment, I won! This is the first time I've ever won something and I've entered a ridiculous number of competitions/giveaways over my lifetime LOL. Not only that, this giveaway was totally amazeballs!

The prizes included a pair of pink Tweezerman Tweezers, 2 OPI Shatter nail polishes in White and Red, and 1 MAC blush and lipstick of my choice each!

I've been wanting a pair for so long! I plucked some hair from my brows right after I ripped it out of the package, and it is dead set the best pair of tweezers I've laid my hands on.

Her cat allergies were acting up since last night fromplaying with our friend's cat too much -_-.

I only got a few things:

Have been contemplating on getting JC's Mariel for the longest time, but Iwasn't sure if it'd be worth it. But these were only $28, so I had to get them!

I've been naughty and neglecting my poor blog for too long. I applaud anyone who studies or works and manages to have the energy and time to blog regularly. I mean, I've even stopped checking my daily reads, and that use to be my life.

So I decided to blog instantly once I had the itch to blog again, otherwise you would not be reading this post for another 5 months.

Well, I've completed my first year of university 3 weeks ago and am currently enjoying being able to be a lazy slob without feeling guilty.

Here's a run down of what my break has consisted of:

Been heading to bed at 4-6AM everyday
Attended the KPOP Music Festival - still in complete shock

Started and finished watching Arrested Development - this show is too great to have been cancelled. So glad there's going to be a 4th season and a movie!

Scored my first real job for the holidays
Built my 100th floor on Tiny Towers
Made a terrible sandwich

Yup, you can tell my holidays have been quite eventful. Waiting for my friends to finish their exams so we can get the party started *insert big woot*.

NYE 2010

Spent New Years Eve with beloved friends and the lover. Started off with eating lunch local then trained it to the city to watch the 9PM fireworks which was surprisingly fun compared to last year's experience (horrible). Went back to a friend's to watch the 12 o'clock fireworks on TV, at the same time stuffing our faces with McDonald's then drank away to a brand new year while playing blackjack.

2010 wasn't that great of a year for me, probably because of the HSC. But on the other hand, I've finally finished high school and it has allowed me to get closer to the people I now adore which makes me that much more excited to what 2011 will bring.

New Year Resolutions: Find a job, gain weight, get fit, learn how to save $$$, start reading again, study hard for uni (if I make it in), spend more time at home.

I tend to push the bad things aside and let them unravel when the time comes. Doesn't necessarily mean I'm in denial though. I just don't like to think about the bad things. But I guess that makes me weak.

I'm scared because I don't know how I can handle this situation.

I feel helpless because I don't know how to fix it.

And I'm sad knowing that's how it is...

And ya know, this could all have been prevented. But it's too late now. No point dwelling in the past.

We both live in houses where there's no lawn to mow. Thank god for that.

My dad cooks for me and his mom cooks for him. The only thing we know how to cook is rice and eggs, but who doesn't know how to do that?!

Hopefully him very, very soon. I'm still on my learners with zero hours and he's failed his red P's 3 times already :'(.

He is. I give in too easily lol.

I do. I have 2 sisters and 1 lil half brother. He's an only child.

Hellll no. We've attended the same school for 3 years and we were barely friends then. It was only after I moved schools did we start talking. The irony.

I literally only had 45 minutes to get ready because I had to go out for last minute formal stuff, which I didn't even end up using, and my dad made me eat before I could do anything.
I bought hair extensions but it looked so unnatural in my hair 'cos I didn't have any layers so then I tried curling my hair but that failed. So I just ended up with straight, boring hair :'(
Formal wasn't as great as I expected. It was pretty boring during the first few hours with just the food getting out and the music started in the last hour, and 1 hour's not near enough.
But besides that, the place was gorgeous and everyone looked so amazing! Seriously, I think everyone should've gotten a Best Dressed award.
Overall, I wouldn't mind having another formal :D.

So, me and 10 friends decided to take a road trip down to Port Stephens from the 4th-7th for our friend's 19th birthday.

I wasn't going to go because of HSC and all... but what the heck. How could I pass something like this up?!

We were supposed to go whale watching on the last day but everyone just wanted to go home.
I think the trip would've been more eventful if we actually planned what we were going to do each day because we woke up late and just did the same thing each day - pig out, beach, fishing, poker, drink, sleep.
Sarah and I were the only ones cleaning most of the time. I swear, these boys were absolute pigs! The shower, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer were in use 80% of the time, I bet the electricity bill was massive lol.
I brought my notes with me but I didn't get any studying done at all. But I guess that's no surprise.
Overall, it was pretty great. Hopefully, I'll go to another trip soon, but this time by plane lol.

I've abandoned this blog for way too long.

I just don't have my heart in it anymore.

But people have been wanting an update, so here it is!

Year 12 is taking its toll on me as you can tell from my previous posts lol.

My last ever assessments in high school were last week so now everyone's focusing on trials, which are in 2 weeks.

I failed my last maths exam so I'm relying on trials and HSC to regain my 'ok' mark.

Even if I only just pass, it's still good enough for me!

Failing in a subject is just a no-no.

I don't get why I'm doing so bad in maths.

I've chosen the worse year to fail!!!!

It's too hard, with it's stupid equations and graphs and numbers that don't make sense :'(

And you can't really study, ya know? You just have to be naturally smart.

I can't believe I use to do 3unit as well.

it's funny cos I did better when I did 3unit -___-.

The point is, I HATE MATHS.

I'm suppose to be working on my Society and Culture major (PIP) right now but mehh.

It's not due 'til next month, but we're expected to hand in the finished product tomorrow so my teacher can check it over and fix anything that needs to be fixed.

I'm not NEARLY finished yet, yet alone, started writing anything!

Do you think I can finished a 6000 word project by tomorrow?!

But my friend hasn't even chosen a topic yet (CRAZY), so that slightly makes me feel better lol.

Anyway, getting hungry, so I'll end this post here.

Hello.

I haven't been blogging as much as I'd like to, I know. And I haven't been checking up on the blogs I follow either.

Even though it's holidays now, I've been busy. Well, I really haven't been doing much but I still feel busy for some reason. Maybe cos I know I have a heap of things to do before school starts.

I've been staying at my boyfriend's since the holidays but his internet is currently capped and it doesn't get uncapped 'til AFTER holidays which means no blog checking or tumblr-ing for me :(. Which means I had to resort to my DS but that was soon out of battery after a day and I left my DS charger at home. So now I'm catching up on two chapters of maths, ugh.

As for my boyfriend, all he does is play games all day. He wakes up much earlier than me just to play and he stays up much later than me just to play. I tell him he really needs to do something with his life but he doesn't care because games is his life. But ever since he got capped, he is srsly bored since he can't do much.

So I realised that the sole factor of our happiness is fast internet. Yeah, yeah, we have each other, but we can do so much more with fast internet D:.

It's kinda sad actually... but I guess it shows how much of an impact technology has on us.

Oh, and I've started using this new shampoo (black bottle to the right), Sunsilk Longer & Stronger, in hopes of gaining longer hair quicker. It makes my hair more softer and less oily though, I like :D.

Anyways.

I feel really sad? I'm really sick of venting about school work. But I think I'm struggling. My motivation is making it to university but it's not really working for me.

And since my friends just entered their first of uni, I'm hearing all these negative things about it, like the enormous amount of workload, the people there, the travelling. Kinda makes you lose motivation doesn't it, lol.

But I can't blame 'em.. I'll probably be complaining about it twice as much once I get in, just like how I complain about high school.

All I ever do is complain. I hate it.

Anyways, time do start on my assessment which is in less than 12 hours.

Yes, yes, it's a fake.
I use to think fakes shouldn't be allowed to exist, not just because of unethical reasons, but also because it just disgusted me. It's a cheap replica and I just would not touch them with a 10 foot pole.
Well, it'd be okay if they didn't have the brand name on it, but that'd be called a dupe, wouldn't it?
But lately, I've been seeing everyone carrying around unauthentic pieces and they are actually happy with them.
And it made me realise - I'm only 18, I don't have a job and my only income is on $200 a fortnight (which is not enough, mind you).
And then I thought, what the heck? I'm never going to be able to save up a couple of grand 'til I'm 30. Why not just live my life as a cheap-ass of an adolescent?!
Then a $40 bag on eBay came sprawling past, and I found myself bidding frantically just to win a "cheap replica". And I won. Then I realised what I had done and I saw a welcoming bright light coming from the Road of Fakes.
But I'll probably still be self-conscious while carrying this bag around. I mean, I know everyone will be asking me, "Is that real?!" and then I'd reply with a chuckle, "No, I wish!". And we'd both laugh it off while in the back of my head, I'm thinking of burning the bag and burying myself alive.
Ahh, only time will tell.
But hey, it looks pretty good doesn't it? :D

I purchased 11 and already owned 3.
I ordered these off Cherryculture for USD $1.75 each, which is very cheap considering how good they are.
However shipping & handling costs increases as you order more.Buying one lipstick, would cost USD $9.07 for the shipping method of USPS 1st class international mail (no tracking), so I would recommend getting quite a few to get your money's worth.
After ordering from the site twice, I can say they are pretty reliable. Both orders took 3 weeks to arrive which is quite long, but I guess it's worth the wait.
Pros:- inexpensive at USD $1.75- smooth and creamy- pigmented- moisturizing- has a clear plastic bottom which enables you to see the colour- cute packaging- big shade selection- comes in matte & shimmers
Cons:- some have a faint chemically taste/smell- staying power is not that outstanding- can emphasize chapped/peeled lips
Overall, I really like these and I'm planning to buy more soon!
But if you do plan to order from cherryculture, be careful of the colour swatches because the majority of them are wrong.So you should research on the colours first through reviews on websites or Youtube before ordering any!

Cons- can only be purchased through eBay- fallout- some colours are chalky- some colours do not give good payoff- palette case is prone to getting fingerprints

Verdict:Basically, both palettes have shadows that are hit and miss.It's inexpensive so you get what you pay for.
But overall, I think I'll be using the 120 palette more often and the 88 palette for the unique colours.

I finally updated last night after many grueling hours of uploading photos onto Photobucket.

But I guess it's worth it since it gives me large, high-res pictures so you's better appreciate it!

Anyways, holidays are over and school has begun.

Those were my last holidays I could enjoy for high school ever as they'll now be filled with studying and other HSC-related things.

I dropped 3 unit Maths by the way to concentrate on 2 unit Maths.

Even though extension maths may scale up my ATAR, it'll only happen if I do super well and lately I've been failing most of the exams so it won't do me any good.

I'm thinking of dropping 3 unit English as well.

I do absolutely nothing in that subject and I'm just not taking it seriously.

I have a presentation due next week which I obviously have not started on and I think Romanticism is totally boring.

I'm actually thinking of dropping 3 unit History too.

I think I just took it up in the spur in the moment and thought it'd be easy peasy.

But there's a major research project and I already have the PIP for Society & Culture to worry about.

Ya know what? I feel like dropping everything and start fresh.

Which seems kinda funny since I had that chance once.

I'll just have to wait and see.

Big update starts now!

So I turned the big one-eight 3 weeks ago, on the 10th.
I woke up to a banquet of flowers, a red envelope and 2 red-dyed boiled eggs I had to eat.
It's regarded as good luck to eat them on your 18th and you even make a wish.
So it's basically like a birthday cake except you can't share any lol.

Anyways, I didn't do anything big to celebrate.
I was actually planning to eat out and have dinner but I thought of the idea way too late and it was too much of a hassle to organise.
So instead, I went out with my bestie to eat dinner at "Bamboodle" in Parramatta.
It was a pretty nice and cosy Thai restaurant.

Headed to Thanh's house, ate ice-cream from Woolworths and Adam, Dinh and Alan came over to play mahjong.

A few of my friends and I had a get together last week to celebrate a late Christmas. The host was kind enough to cook us a dinner :D.

For New Years Eve, I went to the city to watch fireworks with a couple of friends.

The city was kinda awful, even though you can't see it in the pictures.As we were making our way through to the Harbour Bridge, we got ourselves into a massive crowd and everyone was pushing and shoving.It was PACKED. You have no idea.The crowd suddenly stopped moving and we were no where near the Bridge yet.I felt short of breath and I thought I was gonna faint but I was sure I wasn't claustrophobic.I mean, I was always okay with crowds.It was probably because I was around all these tall people.At the same time I was going to turn around, one of my other friends wanted to get out because she couldn't stand the groping and the pushing anymore.So 6 of us turned around and managed to get out, splitting up with the other 3.Air never felt so good.
We decided to head back to the station but we found an opening to see the fireworks and camped there.I didn't even hear the countdown -_-".Most of the time, we had to wait for fireworks to show because they were being shown in other parts and we couldn't see since buildings were in the way.The fireworks manage to suck more each year.
Anyway, we decided to head out before the fireworks finished otherwise the trains would be packed.But we realised we had to wait for the other 3.We finally met up an hour later and everyone was in a bad mood.But we had to get over it since it New Year.We didn't know what else to do so we headed to the train station.It wasn't as packed but we took the train that had more stops.I guess that's okay though, because we played the 'Topic' game, where you pick a topic and you name all the things to do with it.
My experience last year at the city wasn't as bad.Well, I guess it's cos we were in the wrong place in the wrong time and we headed out too late.Next time, if there is a next time, we should head to Darling Harbour EARLY. But I still think watching the fireworks on TV is better since it gives you all the angles.Well, it's spending time with people you love that counts :D.
Anyway, we got back to Cabramatta and walked to Jennifer's house so we can figure out what to do.Adam was at a party that night so I decided to go there while everyone stayed over at Jen's.The party was already dead when I got there and people were goneeeee.Got home at around 8 AM and had a good sleep.

Went to Habib's in Bankstown on Saturday to celebrate the 18th birthdays of two boys.

The chicken was average. Kinda dry. KFC would have been better but it's ok. The fries and salad were delish though.

Went back to one of the birthday boy's house to have cake and open presents.Reminds me of year 7 haha.
The birthday boy was so spoilt! -SF4 Tournament Edition joystick, Logitech speakers, SF4 & Tekken figurines from Japan and a watch.
The other birthday boy got a fish :).
The guys played Street Fighter and Tekken while everyone else told ghost stories.Well, Eileen was doing all the work. That girl knows too many.A few people were yelling unsuspectingly and touching other people, trying to freak us out. So annoying lol.

Everyone went home but 9 of us decided to go to Eileen's house to hang.
Watched 4 movies - 'One Missed Call' is freaky
We pigged out and had Macca's Snack Wraps. They're so good!We stayed through the night and most fell asleep.I had contacts on so I tried not to fall asleep but it took over me.Slept at 11 AM and had a 4 hour sleep.My eyes hurt when I woke up.We watched some 'Twilight Zone' episodes on Youtube. That show is head doing.It was already 6PM by then and there was only 4 of us left.Decided to go home - well I went to Adam's but that is basically my home lol.
Well that's a wrap!Speaking of wraps, I feel like eating a Crispy Chicken Snack Wrap now...

1. 3D at Home - All I can say is awesome.

11. Brighter Colours - I've seen too much black, white, beige. Can't wait to have some funky colours into my wardrobe.

35. Gaming Software - More handhelds/apps, less consoles. This will be interesting.

60. Mobile Money - People will be able to send money via their mobile phones as quickly as they would a text msg. This is going too far, dontcha think?

61. Mobile Ticketing - Flashing mobile phones at airports and event venues will replace paper tickets. Aw, but I really like saving the paper tickets.

73. Public Bicycles - Is this cool or what? I would totally use these since I don't have a bike lol.

78. Silent Dance Parties - Dancing to the beat via headphones. This seems ridiculous but I guess it prevents noise pollution/angry neighbours and no one will fight over the song choice.

80. Slow Beverages - Anti-energy drinks which promotes calming and boosts concentration. I dislike all energy drinks so this might be good.

99. Wonder Girls - Surprised much? Although I'm not that into them. If only it was Big Bang or something lol.

Watched Avatar in 3D yesterday.

I was never planning to watch it but then everyone was saying it was really GOOD.

And they were right, it was awesome.

It just takes you to a new world and it's so epic!

Although, I wouldn't watch it twice.

It's just not one of movies where you can watch again and again.

But I find it interesting that the director, James Cameron, started writing the script 15 years ago:

Anyways, I'm never going to go to Hoyts Cinema ever again. The line up was so long and we missed the previews! I know, previews are nothing, but this is 3D. The large popcorn & coke combo is so expensive too. $15 compared to Greater Union's $10. And they only have 2 categories - Child & Adult, whereas Greater Union has Child, Student & Adult. And I'm not classified as an adult yet. So basically, I paid $4.50 extra and I spent $55 in total since I bought Adam's ticket and a combo.

Never again.

Christmas

I didn't do much for Christmas. Just had a small party on Christmas Eve at a friend's place with a few people.

Ate chicken nuggets and jumbo-sized dimsims, made tacos and munched on cherries, rambutans and pineapple pieces. Watched 'Major Payne' and 'Not Another Teen Movie' - I know, what Christmas movies.

Only the guys drank but the only drinks available were jägerbombs and the recommended intake for any energy drink is one can a day so obviously, they all felt really sick after a while from drinking too much.

Anyway, while we were all watching the movies, everyone was spread out around the room with their 'other half'. 4 couples. I found this really funny, I dunno why.

The time flew by pretty quickly and it reached Christmas Day. Then finally 5 AM. Some of them decided to sleep over, and the hostess even laid out 6 piles of pjs and toothbrushes for each person. Her boyfriend kept calling them 'constellation prizes' -_-".

But Adam felt pretty bad from the drinks so we decided to walk home. Konked out immediately then woke up at 6 PM. Still Christmas Day.

Unfortunately, we didn't take any photos. Guess we forgot lol.

Didn't get to spend Christmas with family but I guess there's always next year. I gave my dad and step-mom their presents yesterday though. They didn't even open it in front of me! I had to leave the house right away. But my dad did give me money. Practically blew it all away the same day though -_-".

Now all there's left is New Years Eve! Probably gonna spend it at the beach or watching the fireworks in the city. Can't wait :D.

Christmas shopping

Christmas shopping was the worst experience ever last night.

Got to Parramatta at 9.30 PM with Adam, packed as, obviously.

I really hate walking in crowds. This tells me I should've went Christmas shopping before.

I already knew what to buy so I went to Myer department store.

Went to the area where they sold electrical appliances.

Found my present for my dad, which was a neck and shoulder massager.

The box was all screwed and it was the last one so I just took it.

Tried looking for the foot spa for my step mom and Adam's mom.

The store assistants told me they were sold out but they did have one on display but it may be dusty.

It wasn't just dusty. It was old and crusty looking.

I told them no thanks so they told me to try this other store.

Bought my dad's present, went to the other store.

They did have a foot spa but it was $100?! The one I wanted was only $40.

Obviously didn't get it. Saw my dad's present, all newly boxed. Annoyed.

We wanted to go to Big W to see if they had it and Adam wanted an air canister for his tower.

Found out Parramatta didn't have Big W. How is that possible?!

Went into Target, searched for the foot spa everywhere.

Asked a store assistant, said it was near 'cosmetics'.

Wasn't there at all.

Contemplated about getting my step-mom a hair curler.

I know, a 36 y/o woman curling their hair? Unlikely.

Went into David Jones, didn't see the foot spa.

Did see a mini foot massager. $50.

Told Adam I was just gonna get a present for my step-mom and not for his mom.

I could tell Adam was disappointed.

But I'm not loaded ya know.

Purchased the thing, found out it was only $30.

Decided I was gonna buy it for his mom too.

Took the last one.

Didn't want to look like an idiot for buying something again so we went to find another cash register.

Finally finished and went to eat.

I ate chicken teriyaki udon soup, he ate prawn and dumpling noodle soup.

Best moment of the day.

It was almost 12, closing time, so we headed to the station.

Arrived at Granville.

A train was just arriving on the platform we were suppose to be on, so Adam ran for it first, not checking the schedule.

Found out we were going BACK to Parramatta.

Ended up in Parramatta station again, found out we had to wait 1 hour for a train.

Finally came, arrived at Granville.

No more trains after 12 so had to take a Night Ride bus.

Waited another hour for it to come.

Cockroach crawled on me.

Bus came, they said it didn't go to Cabramatta, but stopped at Fairfield.

Took the bus anyway, knowing we had to walk for an hour to get home.

Arrived at Fairfield and found out we could take a Night Ride bus to Cabramatta.

Jumped on that and arrived at Cabra.

Walked to Adam's house and a group of tb's were in front of us, knocking and running on doors.

Adam said it looked like fun.

I told him to join them.

Finally arrived at his house.

It never felt so good to be home.

The morals of the story are:

Don't go Christmas shopping last minute, check your train schedules, don't always rely on your significant other and never sit near bushes.

Anyways, here's what I got them!

As some of you may not know, fashion is one of my favourite things. All I do on the computer most of the time is browse and save pictures. But I have a love/hate relationship with it.

I love it because it gives me great and endless inspiration. I am just in complete awe when I see someone wear something so creative and beautiful. It makes me want go out and wear the exact same thing. And when I see editorals, I'm so amazed by the shots.

But at times, I hate it because I get so jealous of people who can piece together something so wonderful. It makes me think, 'why can't I be creative enough to do something like this?'. It makes me want to 'kick' fashion out of the way and not give a shit about it. When it gets to this point, that's when I stop and do something else.

But I guess that's what hobbies do to you? Make you feel happy but jealous at the same time? But who wants to feel jealous? I hate jealousy.

I dunno. I don't have that with reading.

I got my Year 11 report during school today.
It was OK, not too great but not too horrible.
Rankings are more important than the actual % right?
So to make things short:

English Advanced: 12/107
English Extension: 1/4
Mathematics: 32/107
Mathemetics Extension: 22/36
Economics: 4/24
Ancient History: 24/93
Society & Culture: 1/10

I could have done better, especially with maths 2U & 3U.
That's just ridiculous.
I didn't do so well in my yearly exams for english advanced and extension, so I'm quite pleased.
But overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the results.

I was planning to drop extension maths today because I have an exam this Monday that I clearly have not studied for at all but my teacher was so desperate to keep me.
"Just stay, sit for the test, write your name, don't have to do anything, drop later".
It's because he's afraid the class will collapse due to the small number of students and everyone will be transferred to the other extension maths class and he doesn't want that.

So I dunno.
I'm so lost?!
I want to drop it and not sit for the exam because it's doing my head in so badly.
I don't want to study for something I'm not giving 100% in.
And I have other exams/assessments to worry about.

I have done jack shit, seriously.
ARGH.
I really don't want to put up with this stress.
I want to drop out of school altogether and be free~
But of course, I can't.
And no one will let me.

I just want it to be over, quickly and painlessly.

Year 12 is the biggest bitch.

As people reached this god-for-saken grade, all I heard was complaints about how much year 12 sucks and that they wanted out.
And I would just think they were over reacting.
But it's so goddamn true.
It totally kills my life.
It's only been 4 weeks and it's already killing me.
There's so much to do but so little time to do it in.

I have an in-class essay for English about belonging and choosing texts that relate to my prescribed text is :@.
My prescribed text is Emily Dickinson's poems.
Do you know what she was like?!
All she did was sit in her room all day, writing poems about how she was too scared to fit in and all she did was mope about it.
All I can say is grow a pair.

I need to decide on a topic for my Personal Interest Project for Society and Culture rather quickly because we have to do a speech on our introduction in 3 weeks time.
I have abso-fucking-lutely no idea what to do.
No drugs, sex, depression, death, emo-culture related topics either.

I also need to choose a topic for my major project for Extension History.
I don't know :(.
I may drop the subject if need be.

But any ideas will be greatly, and I MEAN, greatly appreciated :).

I have to say though, that I have a slight advantage since all my friends are high school graduates now, so I can always go to them for help.
But still, I don't know how they were able to cope with all this.
It's too much to handle.
But I know it will be all over and done with in a blink of an eye, and I'd be wondering what I was so stressed about...

I'd come home after school and watch it everyday.
I even had the movies on video tapes.
My favourite character was Sailor Mercury because she was blue (my favourite colour at the time) and she was the brains of the bunch.
But I never realised how ecchi it was until now.
It contains a lot of sexual content but it's very vague.

I didn't even end up doing anything on my to-do list 'cept 6. Gees.
When I was buying the scrapbook, I was contemplating between Dora the Explorer, Bart Simpson and a lizard one.
Dora the Explorer was too teeny bopper, Bart Simpson looked gay, so I took the lizard.
The ugliest one.
But at least it has a section on the cover where it states, 'This belongs to __________'.
That's cool.

Anyway, my friend (hey look, I didn't mention his name) is celebrating his birthday tomorrow, but unfortunately I can't go because of school.
Most of them just finished their HSC, so they're free. Free from high school!

Well, today was very exhausting.

Went late night at Parramatta to help my friends - Chloe, Teresa, Jenny and later Vicky -pick out their dresses for their year 12 formal (you know, I think this is the first time I actually mentioned my friends names in my blog besides my boyfriend's and the birthday shout outs. Weird huh?).
It was an utter failure because it was so hard to find a decent dress they liked.
One wanted a flowy, bright-coloured dress and the other wanted an innocent-looking, white dress with thick straps.
They couldn't be that hard to find could they?!
But they were.
And obviously, you can't buy the shoes and accessories without buying the dress first.
That's just the rule.
So we ended up buying food and more food.
And we got free mini boxes of cereal! I love free stuff, even if it's not useful.
I saw many nice, wonderful things I wanted to buy, but I forced myself not to look at them.
There were sales too :(.
But I must save up money. Very important.

For the first time in my life, I actually sat down on a chair during a shopping trip.
Me? Sophie Phan? Sitting down? During shopping?
That's outrageous!
But my feet were hurting, I only had an hour of sleep, school was wearisome and the girls gave up.
So my tired legs found the nearest chair in Myers and sat down next to Chloe who was Facebooking away - I gave up pestering her to get off her lazy ass and look for a goddamn dress.

Sooo, Chloe and I will go on a mission to find her perfect dress again, but this time at the city.
I told her no complaining this time otherwise I'll make her wear a potato sack to the formal.

Cannot wait for tomorrow.
It is Friday - or should I say, TGIFT -

Resolutions

I really need some motivation for this year.

I was really pumped in the holidays, but I'm sick of it now.

Homework is just piling up on my desk slowly, gradually.

Arghhh, what do I do?!

I don't want to be a lazy blob who leaves everything 'til the last minute.

I really need some change.

I was good before, but when year 11 hit, I just became really, super, ultra, mega lazy.

I need to reorganise my priorities.

Set some new year resolutions for 2010! - I know, it's not 2010 yet, but this is very important!

So here goes:

1. Eat breakfast every morning whenever I can.

2. Have a notebook ready for English - my teacher gives away A LOT of good points.

3. Listen in class and actually do work.

4. If I'm unsure of something, ask the teacher, not the person next to me.

5. Right after school, eat then do some HOMEWORK!

6. Cannot touch the TV or computer until I finish every single piece of homework.

7. Start assessments early, preferably the same day I received it.

8. Write study notes RIGHT NOW so I won't have to cram right before the HSC.

9. Revise everything new I've learnt everyday.

10. Minimize the amount of times I go out a week.

11. Lights out before 2AM!

12. Prioritise Facebook games last - being the highest level in Cafe World on my friend's list does not help me in obtaining a high ATAR.

13. Spend money wisely. Only buy things I really need and will actually benefit me.

14. No more taxi rides! Please!

15. Exercise regularly - push ups, sit ups, jogging anything.

16. Eat healthy! - More vegetables and fruits, less chips and candy.

That's all I can think of right now.

I think I'll start this next week... or maybe the week after...

School started yesterday.
Got most of my yearly exams' results back.
Advanced English was absolutely appalling. I was shattered.
Was pretty pleased with my other subjects.
At least it doesn't count towards our HSC.
This year is what counts. I'm going to work hard.
Must manage time effectively, no more cramming, no 'cbf' business, get plenty of sleep.
I don't care what it takes, what I have to sacrifice, what I have to do -
I'm going to do it.
It's the first step in determining my life path after all.

So obviously, I've been doing amazing, exciting things during my absence.

Anyway, I wanted to get into reading again before I get busy with year 12 'cause I know I won't have any time.
I haven't read a book since last year.
That may not seem long to some, but it is to me.
And that book was Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer.
I haven't even finished it yet.
Just waiting 'til the movie comes out then I'll start reading.
'Cause I know I'll forget what the book is about and I'd like to know before I watch the movie so I can compare and criticize the movie's take on the book (I know, I'm mean).

Yes, I was very disappointed with the HP movies, but you just can't blame 'em.
They have a budget to meet and no one would want to sit through a 6 hour movie. (I wouldn't mind though).

So, I bought a book the other day.
The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
I know, it's practically a crime for me not to read this worldwide bestseller novel yet.
I've watched the movie twice, and I liked it.
The story is so mindboggling. I love it.
And I have a thing for conspiracies. It's just so interesting.
And this story is full of it.
But as I'm reading it, I'm getting confused with the sequence of events and the information between the movie and the book.
Yeah.
They changed the book cover too.
I prefer the original one, but at least we can see what the "cryptex" and Louvre Pyramid looks like.

Books are quite expensive though - $20+.
But I'd rather own it than borrow from the library.
I don't know what to read next.
There's so many great books out there, I don't know where to start.
Do you guys have any recommendations?
I'm open to all genres, 'cept maybe sci-fi and horror, lol.

Anyway, there is only one more week left 'til I'm faced with pressure and all the other ugly things.
I'm talking about year 12.
This is practically my last holiday as all the remaining holidays in year 12 will be filled with studying.
And that's no holiday to me.
So I should make use of it while I can.

HAI GUISE.

I know, it's been a while since I've posted.
But it's not my fault. Blame it on the exams, I say!
Yes, I am currently doing my preliminaries right now.
I've only done 3/7 exams so far and it's the second week already.
Very slow.
Ancient history and economics was pretty easy, but english was the killer one.
It always is.
Which is very ironic as english should be anyone's best subject, because after all, it is english.

I have society and culture tomorrow and that's it for this week.
I haven't touched my books yet. SIGH.
Well, I guess I perform better when I study after midnight.
But I think I'm tired or something, 'cause my eyes are really blurry @_@.

Anywho, you guys may be wondering why this post is titled "Sad news"?
Well brace yourselves because what I'm going to tell you is very heartwrenching. Get someone to stand next to you just in case you faint.

I won't be going to my boyfriend's year 12 formal.
I know.
I'll give you this time to cry about it and take it all in slowly.

Yeah, well it's for a very stupid reason and I don't care to explain 'cause it's just too depressing.
And obviously, he's not going either.
But don't you think it's sad?! I think I'm more sad about it than him, and it's his formal.
Golly gosh.

Well, our friend suggested us to go to the after party at least but I thought, "Wouldn't it be weird?".
Because we're attending the after party and not the actual formal.
I mean, if someone did that, I'd find that quite rude.
But these people are our friends, so I'm sure they wouldn't mind, or even give a shit.
And we wouldn't know whether to dress up or not, 'cause what if we did?
We'd look like total douchebags, getting all dressed up for an after party.
But what if we didn't?
We'd look like total douchebags anyway.
So basically, it's a lose-lose situation.
But she told us to dress up for fun anyway. So I guess, it's okay.
And while everyone's at the formal, we'd be hanging at the apartment/hotel place waiting for them to come.
Oh, this is just getting sadder and sadder.
But not going is even sadder.

Oh well, if my boyf and I don't end up going, we'll just have to do something *special ourselves!

Guess what? It's my two year anniversary with my beloved boyfriend today.
So I'd like to take this time to say:

This is our most normal, recent and decent photo of us.

We don't really take regular photos as most other couples do.
We don't even take those cute sticker photos from Capitols or been to Coco studios.
He's just not into posing and waiting for the Capitol machine to flash so we've only gone to Capitols once.
And he doesn't like being told how to pose so Coco's is out of the question.

I think a normal camera photo doesn't bother him as much though.
But I feel so awkward if he looks at the camera with me.
So that's why in most of the pictures I post of us, he's not looking at the camera 'cause I tell him not to.
oh well, I guess this will have to do for now.

Anyway, I'm suppose to talk about the joy and happiness of this wonderful day.
Yep, I'm very excited indeed.
I guess it feels like I accomplished something very big.
2 years is a long time in my eyes.
This is the longest, on-going relationship I've ever been in.
And I'm glad it's with him :).

I don't think we'll be doing anything special though since every little bit of money needs to be saved up right now for other things (e.g. his formal which he hasn't even paid yet!).
But I don't mind, I'll be happy as long as we have each otherrrr.

Deceiving

It's funny how just taking off my glasses and adding on a few pounds of makeup (okay, not literally) can alter my whole appearance.
It's so deceiving!

Oh, and my phone's away on repairs for 3 weeks.
I don't remember if I said this, but my phone started acting up 3 weeks ago.
The touch screen is dysfunctional.
I don't know if dropping it in the toilet was the main factor, but they didn't even ask how it happened.
And I'm glad they didn't.
Hopefully I'll get it replaced 'cause there's a huge dent on the corner from dropping it on the school ground.
And yes, I have a case but it only protects the screen.
Maybe I should bubble wrap it.

But in the mean time, I'm going to use my sister's old Sony Ericsson as she just bought a new phone today.

Ugg boots are invented by Australians but no one wears them here 'cept bogans who wear sweatpants and 2-sizes-too-small singlets.
And the funny thing, it's more popular overseas.
When I went back to Canada last year, it was a very big thing, particularly with the adolescence.

The majority of the girls in my school had them or wanted them.
And if it wasn't Uggs, then it was the cheaper alternative - Emus.
A girl even asked me if I wore them back in Australia.
I told her 'no' and 'I barely see anyone wear them'.
She surely got the shock of her life.
The only person I really know who wears uggs is my dad.
But he wears them as slippers around the house when it gets cold.

I personally think they're hideous.
And it's ridiculous how they're not waterproof so you have to spray them all the time.
That just defies the whole purpose if you wear them out in the rain and snow.
I can't deny that they're ultra warm though.
